Ostgut Ton has shared details of Virginia’s new record, ‘Fierce for the Night’, out on May 27.
Virginia’s latest release, her first album, features co-production by Dexter, Martyn and Steffi, being hailed as a “group performance”. Influenced by a range of boogie, UK garage, house and drum ’n’ bass, ‘Fierce for the Night’ plays like a personal narrative composed of “the coexistence of people on the dancefloor” and the “sparks between an audience and a song”.
Preceding the album is a limited white label 12” called ‘Funkert'/'Raverd’ to be released on April 22. Stream it below.
