Nostro Hood System releases new compilation fusing culture with club

With tracks from the likes of Goro, Superfície and Callosum

Independent record label Nostro Hood System has dropped a ten-track compilation exploring otherworldly sound design and emotional, club-ready productions.

Titled ‘Waystation Compilation: Sequence I’, the release sees the likes of Goro (pictured), Superfície, Callosum and Lemonick join together to explore a range of bass-heavy, hybrid sounds.

Founded by Bristol-based producer Galtier, who features on the compilation, Nostro Hood System is known on the scene for dizzying constructions that interject culture into clubland’s underground. According to the press release, the ten artists involved each offer “a piece of auditory culture to represent the people of their planet. This multicultural experience truly defines the nature of the Nostro Hood – a celebration of difference both sonically and culturally.”
