Nils Frahm has scored new German film 'Victoria'
It's up for best soundtrack at the German Film Awards
Nils Frahm has composed the soundtrack for 'Victoria', a new one-take German film shot in the Berlin pianist and synthesiser wizard's home city.
The creation of 'Music For The Motion Picture Victoria', out on Erased Tapes June 15, saw Frahm work with a small team of musicians for his first film score, which opens with a DJ Koze edit of 'Burn With Me'.
Directed by Sebastian Schipper, the film has already taken the prize for best cinematography at this year's Berlinale Film Festival and has been nominated in seven categories, including best soundtrack, at Germany's most prestigious film awards, the Deutscher Filmpreis.
