Nile Rodgers added as keynote speaker at SXSW 2017

The festival in Austin, Texas adds a legendary artist and more

The annual SXSW festival has just added Nile Rodgers as a keynote speaker along with an additional 200 artists.

Among the other additions are SOHN, Autre Ne Veut, SG LEWIS, Wafia, Sam Gellaitry, S U R V I V E and many more.

Nile Rodgers, who is the most recent addition to the keynote speakers, joins previously announced speakers Zane Lowe of BBC Radio 1, director Lee Daniels, director Jill Soloway, Doctor Jennifer Doudna, climber Cory Richards and more.

Since 1987, SXSW has been a guiding force in the realm of music, art and technology, exhibiting the cutting edge and up-and-coming talent. It’s widely regarding as the biggest festival of its kind in the world with a section for a music festival and film festival, along with interactive showcases.
