Nicole Moudaber, Paco Osuna and Matador join Richie Hawtin's MODEL1 team
A strong all-star league
In the beginning of 2016, Richie Hawtin unveiled his new MODEL1 mixer, developed with Andy Rigby-Jones and Allen & Health.
Since its announcement, the music-tech wiz has been touring the world with the equipment to show off the specs and has enlisted a handful of incredibly powerful friends to help him along the way. The PLAYdifferently movement welcomed Chris Liebing, Maceo Plex, Mike Servito, Dubfire, Loco Dice and many more to perform on the Prototypes Tour using only the new MODEL1.
PLAYdifferently now adds Nicole Moudaber, Paco Osuna and Matador as MODEL1 ambassadors, introducing a massive technology partnership with one of the UK's most famed nightlife brands, The Warehouse Project. The new collaboration will give a huge scope of artists the opportunity to experience Hawtin's new machinery at a number of highly elite events.
Moudaber explains that the "sound experience and attention to detail implemented [by the MODEL1] is second to none," while Matador discloses that the new mixer has become "the centre-piece, the engine room" for his live performances.
The MODEL1, open for purchase to the public, has sold out during its first run. The brand is currently taking orders for the second series of production.
