A new music festival called The Meadows is heading to New York

Organizers behind New York's Governors Ball festival have unveiled plans to roll out a new festival in the city, set to take place later this fall.

Founders Entertainment have introduced The Meadows, a two-day music festival in the parking lot of Citi Field in Queens, which is also home to EDC's New York edition.

The event will take place on October 1 and 2 and plans to be a multi-genre festival and also feature local arts, food and drink vendors.
