HORST Festival lines up MCDE and Gilles Peterson

Get down in a 15th century castle

Belgian festival HORST has released the first batch of names for its 2017 edition.

Motor City Drum Ensemble and Gilles Peterson are set to play, as are Jayda G and Amsterdam crate-digger Young Marco. The festival will take place on September 8 and 9.

The fourth edition of the event, which places equal focus on art and music, will take place inside a 15th century castle nestled in the Hageland Hills, surrounded by a moat and lush woods. Funkineven, Jay Daniel, Red Greg and Kornel Kovacs are also set to play.

HORST will also feature a bounty of on-site art from the likes of Assemble (London), architecten De Vylder Vinck Taillieu and Batia Suter.
