Native Instruments introduces Flesh performance synth
The Komplete instrument has been created by Planet Mu and Warp artist Tim Exile
Native Instruments has released a "fun and innovative" synth, allowing you to transform your samples into whole tracks.
Fully compatible with NI's Komplete Kontrol S-Series keyboards, the first Reaktor instrument to be so, Flesh gives you the ability to flip your own source material into basslines, chords, melodes, harmonies and more.
Armed with a Sample Engine, Monosynth Engine, Polysynth Engine, Subsynth Engine, Effects Section and Modulation page, you're provided with the chance to completely alter your sound, whether it be upping the percussion or pitch-bending the sample.
On top of that you've got four key controls - Spectrum, Character, Length and Mod - which make it possible to have complete creative freedom of your samples.
Tim Exile said: "The concept for Flesh came to me when touring with my custom looping, beatmaking, and improvising instrument that I built in Reaktor.
"I wanted something that would empower me to create expressive and dynamic sounds which fit in perfectly with whatever was going on at the time."
