Nacho Marco - 8/10

One of Spain's main house exports, Nacho Marco has produced two storming acid house tracks for Josh Wink's Ovum. Lead track 'On Fire' builds and builds to a crescendo of Roland TB-303 squelches and intense synth stabs.

This could easily have come from label head-honcho Wink, as it really is a lesson in how to do an acid track properly. On the flip we have the classy sounds of 'Visions.' This has a rounded, walking bassline and warm atmospherics that combine to produce something that's too good to be a B-side.
