Music On will throw two parties over its closing weekend
Jamie Jones, Miss Kittin, Stacey Pullen, Oxia and more are locked in to play
Music On is set to see of its 2016 Ibiza season in style with two parties taking place at Amnesia over the course of its finale weekend on the White Isle.
The celebrations will start on September 30, and continue with a mammoth event on October 1 that kicks off at 6pm.
Honcho Marco Carola will headline each bash, playing a length all day set on Saturday, with Stacey Pullen, Miss Kittin, Oxia, Neverdogs, Jamie Jones, Leon and Joey Daniel among the artists joining him on the line-ups.
Speaking to Mixmag about his favourite moments of the 2016 Music On season, Carola said: “I’m still blown away that we are in our fifth year! Every weekend I have had a moment, so I can’t pick just one. Having lots of artists joining us, people’s joyful reaction to the music and all the events have just been amazing.”
On the topic of selecting artists for the closing parties, he added: “The majority of them are our Music On residents. We start as a family and as a team, so we believe we should end the season as one. As for the special guests, they are special for a reason: they will bring a different sound and flavour to the event.”
Since its Ibiza debut five years ago, Music On has grown into one of Ibiza’s best loved parties, with Oxia noting “[Music On has] brought something refreshing and with an identity of its own, a very unique atmosphere and quality music” to the island.
