Murlo announces debut EP from bassline enigma Sharda
Landing this May on Coil Records
A new EP from the ever-elusive Sharda is out this May.
Landing on Murlo’s fresh imprint Coil Records, the self-titled four-tracker sees Sharda buoyantly skip through club-ready sounds inflected with piano house, speed garage and outrageous happy hardcore motifs.
The forthcoming EP follows up the imprint’s inaugural release from label boss Murlo and rising star Conducta. According to a press statement, “These two initial releases lay bare Murlo’s mission statement with Coil – no-nonsense, ambitious dance music referencing the wealth of influences to be found within any Murlo DJ set.”
The ‘Sharda’ EP is out May 4 on Coil Records. Check out the EP’s head-spinning lead track ‘Chin Up’ alongside an expectedly impressive animated trailer below.
