Mr. Mitch is 'Devout' on new album
It arrives via Planet Mu on April 21
Mr. Mitch is set to release a new album titled ‘Devout’ through Planet Mu on April 21.
According to the label, themes explored through the 12-track outing are “love, loyalty, family and the start and end of relationships, with an overarching theme about becoming a father,” all packaged within Mr. Mitch’s signature style of emotionally resonant grime.
Speaking about the LP, the Boxed co-founder, who sings on the record alongside his eldest son Milo, said: “We all know the stereotype of the black dad with multiple children from multiple partners who is absent from the child’s life, we see it consistently in popular culture. I want to champion the alternative, which to me is just normal.”
Further artists featured are P Money, Duval Timothy, Denai Moore, Palmistry and Py.
