Mr C, Droog and more show support for Bernie Sanders in LA
Dance for a good, political cause
This Sunday, June 5, Los Angeles's Sound Nightclub is hosting a massive get together of DJs all for the sake of Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders.
A 24-strong troupe of DJs will be spinning at the club starting at 3pm and will include Mr. C, Mikey Lion, Droog (pictured), Plastic Love, Deep Jesus, Freddy Be and many more.
"One of the great things about dance music is that it ties us together - different nationalities, backgrounds, classes," Organizer Jon Charnis explained. "I noticed that in our community there was almost unanimous support for Bernie Sanders, so I thought, why not? Let's do something that brings us together for a cause!"
Donations will be accepted and sent directly to the Sanders campaign here (a $10 minimum donation to enter), and names from the donation list will be used for list at the door.
