Mochakk has announced the launch of his very own nightclub, OBLIQO.
The new “multifaceted” venue and creative space is based in Sorocaba, Mochakk's hometown, with a mission to “give back” to his city and spotlight the local electronic scene.
Opening tonight, September 6, the first event will also celebrate the release of his newest EP, 'Locomotiva Ibiza 2099 - Part II' via Circoloco, as well as the venue's launch.

The 600-capacity club coined its name from the Portuguese word "Oblíquo" which means a “shifted perspective”. The space has also been fitted with a soundsystem from Brazilian company 4VIAS Professional Audio, alongside equipment by B&C Speakers.
Announcing the news of the venue's opening on Instagram yesterday, Mochakk said: "OBLIQO is a project I’ve been working on for a while and keeping secret from you guys."
"Built by me and best friends, to give back to our home city is opening THIS FRIDAY with the official 'LOCOMOTIVA IBIZA 2099 II' release party," he said.

As well as running as a nightclub, the space will be a hub for exhibitions on the history of electronic music and offer workshops led by artists and industry professionals.
"I'm so happy to finally bring both these projects to the world," Mochakk said. “OBLIQO is more than just a nightclub; it’s a groundbreaking hub for the electronic music scene, created to inspire, educate, and connect both the local community and global audiences,” a statement from the club reads.
