Moby's new album tells us 'These Systems Are Failing'

He's uploaded a teaser video to YouTube

Moby has teased a new album, expected next month, with a short video clip.

Following the release of his memoir, Porcelain, the New York producer has uploaded a video montage accompanied with the text "debut album coming soon". Obviously he's released LPs before, so this one is expected to come from his Moby & The Void Pacific Choir project.

The video begins with Moby dragging a microphone through the suburban streets and into the woods, then announcing "these systems are failing". Erratic audio then bursts into play, accompanied by clips of Black Friday, The Jerry Springer Show, Donald Trump, Chernobyl and damage to nature.

Last year, Moby spoke to Al Jazeera: "The music on the record is - the only way I can describe it, it's like new wave dance music. It's sort of New Order inspired, a little Depeche Mode inspired. But quite electronic, very song oriented. I have no idea if it's good."
