Mixmag Live with Simian Mobile Disco

For our third Mixmag Live event, we are very excited to present one of the most innovative and versatile electronic acts working today: Simian Mobile Disco.

After emerging as a side project to their old band, Simian, the duo of James Ford and Jas Shaw have gone on to make defining records in several dance music genres ¬ from the party electro of 'Hustler' to 'Cruel Intentions' with Beth Ditto and latterly the deep techno of their 'Delicacies' album – plus their seminal remixes of acts like Klaxons, Bjork and The Rapture.

For this Mixmag Live event, SMD Weirdcore, the outfit behind visuals for Aphex Twin, MIA amongst others will perform a special DJ/AV set with enhanced, bespoke visuals.

Every fan who attends the event will receive a copy of the May issue of Mixmag (normally worth £4.50), featuring SMD on the cover, plus their mix CD and 10 page section guest edited by the boys themselves.
