Mixmag Live with Black Coffee
BLACK COFFEE SUPPORT TBA
Friday, July 10 Village Underground, London, EC2A 3PQ 10pm - 4am
Black Coffee's no ordinary house DJ and producer. He's a South African pioneer, a true celebrity in his home country and one of the most exciting DJ talents to come out of the continent. That's why we're so delighted to have him play Mixmag Live.
The Durban-born artist brings his flavoursome house selection to East London's Village Underground on July 10 and it promises to be one of the best parties we've thrown all year.
If you caught him at Circoloco, The Hydra or Suncebeat last Summer, you'll know all about the fruity, uplifting and Afro-inspired cuts he likes to drop fro the dance floor.
His production credentials are pretty exceptional, too. His second album, 'Home Brewed', - featuring Lush Bucie collaboration 'Superman' and the jazzy 'We Are One' - won him a South African Music Award back in 2011 and he's released plenty more quality material on Foliage Records, Kronologik and CityDeep Music.
Technically, musically and spiritually the most amazing Mixmag Live we've ever had...surely? Check it out for yourself below.
