Mixmag has a new vacancy in our content team for a Senior Designer

As part of this full time role you will be responsible for the look and feel of Mixmag’s digital, social and commercial assets.

The role will place you in the epicentre of the music industry, working closely with artists, brands and journalists at the world’s most respected dance music media brand. Applicants must be able to work full-time from our central London office and be able to work outside of conventional hours for events, shoots or activations. Applications close on September 5. Required Skills:

Collaborate closely with the editor to maintain brand consistency Collaborate closely with PMs and Creatives to deliver projects efficiently Uphold the brand's look and feel across all touchpoints Deep understanding of typography, layouts, and grid systems Familiarity with photo retouching and editing techniques Mastery of Adobe Suite (InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator) Proficiency in G Suite (Sheets, Slides, Drive) In-depth comprehension of branding and identity design Fluent in static and motion graphics Proficient in file management Commercial deck creation

Commercial Projects:

Generate innovative concepts aligned with client briefs, effectively conveying their vision Adhere to both Mixmag's and client's brand guidelines Design assets across diverse platforms (website, social media, digital displays, newsletters, print, location branding, etc.) Produce and supervise production-ready files

Covers:

Collaborate with creatives (photographers, stylists, MUA, hairstylists, set designers, retouchers, etc.) to bring concepts to life Set up photoshoots Engage with artists' teams Design assets

Digital/Social/Website:

Develop distinctive identities for online/social series Create user-friendly templates for fellow designer/staff Maintain up-to-date knowledge of various social media platforms and adapt templates accordingly Lead design trend integration to ensure competitiveness
