Missing Dutch woman found at a week-long rave in Spain
And that's why you always leave a note
Look, we’ve all had an off night where you headed into a rave with only 19% battery, expecting it to last the night and assuming that if it didn’t you’d be able to find at least one of your friends among the 3000 other people.
But one woman has taken ‘losing yourself in the music’ to new levels.
Thalissa Van de Lagemaat set off for Granada after having her phone and identification stolen, but planned to return to the Netherlands on October 31.
When her family didn’t hear from her, they understandably panicked and launched an appeal that spread on social media and was picked up by news outlets.
That was until Van de Lagemaat simply posted a link to the free party festival she was at in Santa Fe, Granada, to her Facebook page to explain her whereabouts, prompting some rather angry friends and family.
Moral of the story is she’s fine but a courtesy call never goes amiss.
