Mira Ló announces debut EP, shares lead single and video

The track shares a taster of what to expect in the EP, packed with house-infused nu-disco

Mira Ló has announced her debut EP, 'Memories', set for release on Pont Neuf on April 28.

Alongside the announcement, the French house producer shared lead single 'Sparks' with an accompanying video.

Immersed in warm-sounding house and nu-disco, the cut offers a sample of what to expect in the long-awaited EP. Aligning with the playful and lightheartedness of the video, it incorporates floaty synths with a delicate, soothing vocal throughout.

“I wanted to create a track that you can dance to with your eyes closed, with a slightly soft and cosmic disco touch,” she explains. “I wanted to mix in the punchier house side also, which I naturally try to inject into my tracks.”

“2022 marked my arrival on Pont Neuf, but also the end of a love story," Ló expands on the EP. "I wanted to tell the emotions I went through on this EP, between club euphoria to the melancholy of more personal moments. What’s interesting is that these two opposing emotions are also felt in my musical influences, through house and nu-disco, which fit perfectly with what I wanted to put into this music."

It's been a busy year for Mira Ló. She's made her first production appearances via Pont Neuf Records, Happiness Therapy and Amsem Records, whilst playing over thirty debut dates in France throughout 2022.
