Michael Tullberg's latest project is a celebration of rave culture

The photographer calls fans to action

Michael Tullberg, the famous underground photographer and author of Dancefloor Thunderstorm, has announced his newest venture: The Raver Stories Project.

Tullberg's new work will be issued through 5150 Publishing Inc. and will compile the entire collection through fan submissions, charting anything ranging from the rise of rave culture in the 90s to modern day EDM experiences.

Although there are many components to dance music culture (the atmosphere, the music and the fashion) the piece aims to highlight the true backbone and forefront of the scene: the people.

Michael and 5150 are putting out a call to action, explaining that they are looking for stories from all different events, locations with varying groups of music lovers. The most essential characteristic of each story is that the experience was significant, emotionally charged and transformative.

The Raver Stories Project is slated to release in 2017, in-print and e-book mediums.
