MDRNTY Cruise confirms Ricardo Villalobos and Black Coffee for 2018

Apollonia and Celoe De Song are also playing

MDRNTY Cruise has announced the first phase of names playing its 2018 event.

The cruise on the MSC Opera sails from and returns to Genoa, making stops in Sardinia and Corsica, and takes place across June 10 to 13.

A host of underground heavyweights have been locked in to play, with music running 24 hours a day on board the luxury ship.

Featuring among the first wave of names is Ricardo Villalobos, Black Coffee (pictured), Stephan Bodzin, Jan Blomqvist, Apollonia, Culoe De Song, Patrice Baumel, Audiofly, Eagles and Butterflies, SIT, Osunlade and Ion Ludwig and more.

Maxime Léonard, director of MDRNTY, said: "For this second edition, our wish is to present a musical offering that draws on the entire spectrum of underground electronic music, always in an exclusive environment where no one expects to hear it."

On top of the music, entertainment on board includes pop-up events, artistic and technological shows, film screenings, a casino, contemporary art shows, DJs soundtracking electronic yoga sessions and sports facilities such as tennis courts and bowling.

You’ll also be able to disembark and explore the Mediterranean paradises of Sardinia and Corsica.

All-inclusive packages are available, including cabin accommodation, unlimited dining, unlimited drinks (non-premium) and 24-hour access to dancefloors, with four-part payment plans available.
