Massive Attack present exhibitions to celebrate new EP
Two take place in London and Berlin this month and next
Massive Attack are holding two exhibitions to celebrate the release of the new 'Ritual Spirit' EP.
They'll be taking place at Lazarides Editions in London (February 3 to March 5) and The Store in Berlin (February 17 to 20).
On show will be 25 clothbound portfolios by band member 3D (Robert Del Naja), featuring hand-made screenprints - all signed and numbered - and a collection of works that "document the visual history of the band," according to a press release.
Exhibition-goers will also have the chance to buy a limited edition version of the EP, which features Roots Manuva, Tricky and Young Fathers.
The press release goes on to read: "Representing the history of the band’s visual culture are a diverse selection of multi-media works from £750 (ex VAT) that highlight the unique vision Del Naja has brought to music, design and popular culture.
"Massive Attack has continually reinvented the intersection of music and art through which they have created challenging, alternative, evocative aesthetics raising awareness of ethical, social and political issues of concern."
