Martinez & Quadelli - 6/10

Martinez & Quadelli are relatively fresh artists, since running and playing at their rapidly growing Third Eye parties in Manchester the lads have quickly taken to churning out their own floor-moving sounds. 'Coliseum Funk' is a sturdy late-night jam with a repeated hip-house vocal sample that gets embedded in your head like 'Renegade Master' did in the noughties. Man-of-the-moment Raffa FL is on remix duties and mutes down the vocal to concentrate on a bass-driven rework. 'Right Now' is a shuffling house jam complete with orchestra hits, piano lines and diva vocals. The piano weapon remix has already found its way into the sets of Josh Butler, Sante and Sidney Charles.
