Mark Sherry & Paul Denton - 8/10

Though he was signed to Spinnin' for two years, in August 2014 Scottish producer Mark Sherry decided to launch Black Hole sub-label Outburst Records so he could champion tech-trance in his own way. His latest offering is a collaboration with Irish label-mate Paul Denton. A 3am club track that's bound to keep you on the dancefloor, it's moody, driving, packed full of tension and has a melody that chimes in a third of the way through to keep things interesting. With music this good, we can see why he wanted to go it alone.
