Marco Faraone

Drumcode and Faraone is a match made in techno heaven

Italian producer and DJ Marco Faraone is one of the country's most exciting young prospects. Having had a musical upbringing in Tuscany, the artist has been releasing tracks since 2008 and when he came into the Lab LDN he showcased his exceptional mixing skills.

An hour and 40 minutes of top-notch blending ensued and the smile didn't leave his face from start to finish.

Moon Harbour, Truesoul, Get Digital and Drumcode have all played home to his rounded, club-ready techno and now he returns to Adam Beyer's premier imprint with more trippy, synth-heavy artillery.

It's the perfect place for his music as well. Beyer's label specialises in colossal techno that always comes armed with something a little different and 'Climax' by Faraone is some of his most brooding work yet.

Dense, Robert Hood-esque basslines and spliced vocals rumble from the off before big drops and fierce cymbals storm into the frame, making this super-charged track one that'll rain hell on any dancefloor.

Big is an understatement.

'Climax' by Marco Faraone will be released on March 14 via Drumcode
