Marcel Dettmann reveals unreleased collaboration with Levon Vincent, 'Can You See'
One of the seven unreleased tracks included in his DJ-Kicks release
Marcel Dettmann has shared a new collaboration with esteemed producer Levon Vincent entitled ‘Can You See’, which is exclusive to his forthcoming DJ-Kicks release due out this month.
Having previously worked together on the critically acclaimed ‘Vengeance’, released via Vincent’s Novel Sound label in 2015, Dettmann describes how the two artists had a jam session five years ago and have since been sending ideas back and forth. The result is ‘Can You See’, a dark, stripped back, atmospheric number that shines with quality production.
Dettmann’s DJ Kicks compilation consists of seven previously unreleased tracks and as the German artist reveals, might not be what people expect of him: “This mix is not the picture that other people take of me, it is the picture I’d take of myself”.
