Mala’s latest LP ‘Mirrors’ his trips to Peru

Mala has shared details about a new Peru-inspired LP entitled ‘Mirrors’.

Billed as being inspired by Mala’s many trips to Peru, ‘Mirrors’ features many local artists and musicians. The LP balances the use of Peruvian traditional instruments and structures with the Digital Mystikz member's staple heavy bass pressure. The first available track from the release ‘Kotos’ takes full advantage of the pan pipe group Asociacion Juvenil Puno focusing heavily on rhythm.

‘Mirrors’ is out in June via Brownswood Recordings, but ‘Kotos’ can be heard now below.
