Makeness explores 'Loud Patterns' on debut album

It arrives via Secretly Canadian in April

Makeness has announced details of his debut LP ‘Loud Patterns’.

The 11-track release is out on April 6 through Secretly Canadian, showcasing the Scottish artist's style of bridging pop songwriting with house and experimental electronica to make sounds that are both upbeat and eerily detached.

Accompanying the announcement, Makeness has released a video for album track ‘Stepping Out Of Sync’.

The video injects wonder into the corner shops and bus stops of London, with its leftfield sketch of two friends on a late night wander, ending in a playful dance routine outside a kebab shop.

Makeness is also heading out on a European and North American tour in support of the release, including a stop at London's Corsica Studios on April 12. Tickets are on sale here.
