London club XOYO no longer booking headline DJs at Saturday party Pleasurehood
The new focus on resident DJs brings weekly ticket prices down to £5
East London club XOYO has announced it will stop booking headline acts for Saturday series Pleasurehood.
Long-time XOYO resident Joshua James will be taking to the DJ booth each Saturday, with Coco Cole, Luke Solomun, Eliza Rose and Hifi Sean also joining on rotation. Dancer Lucy Fizz will also be fronting the dance troupe each week.
The decision means that advanced ticket prices will be pushed down to £5.
XOYO said: “At a time in London when ticket prices are becoming extortionate, with stacked line-ups of international DJs playing to thousands of people; we want to shift our focus back to the party, where the dancefloor comes first.”
Check the Pleasurehood page on XOYO's website for more info.
