Given the massive injection of bar-raising piano balladry into the Hospital universe of late, how will trusty old label lieutenant Matt Gresham keep his end up?

The answer, it turns out, is pretty easily: ‘Electric Sun’, his fifth full-length studio album, is a lucid headswim of tear-jerker vocals (‘Lost In U’, ‘Take Me To Another World’) and trademark fluttering electro strollers (‘Electric Sun’, ‘Sentimentality’).

It’s also flanked by some neat, bleepy downtempo jams and some springer zippers, too, for good measure. Young bucks out there, take note: five albums deep, this is exactly how a pro does it.
