Orbital's new single ‘Tiny Foldable Cities’ is a nod to their pre-rave roots
It's taken from their new album 'Monsters Exist'
Orbital have released the latest single from their forthcoming album.
Brothers Paul and Phil Hartnoll reunite with their signature electro-hypnotica style, but take it forward into a new phase with the new single, ‘Tiny Foldable Cities’.
The track is part of the new album ‘Monsters Exist’ that will come out on September 14. The album is said to draw inspiration from the international political landscape but stick to Orbital’s pre-rave squat-punk roots.
Paul said: “You don’t need to spell out who the monsters are. We’re not pointing our fingers at Donald Trump or Kim Jong-un. It’s clear who the monsters are. I’ve never liked preaching to people. It’s much better to provoke a bit of thought.”
The duo will also go on tour this year. Pre-sale starts at 10am on May 17 and you can get tickets here.
