Listen to Mano Le Tough’s debut Essential Mix
Featuring a collection of music similar to what he would play in a club setting
For his Essential Mix debut on BBC Radio 1, Ireland’s Mano Le Tough stepped up with a two-hour mix that offers a snapshot of his eclectic taste.
Although he’s been relatively quiet in terms of releasing music this year, Mano Le Tough, aka Niall Mannion, has been one of the most in demand DJs. He’s been doing the rounds, performing sets around the world, including Amsterdam, New York City, London, Berlin and Ibiza. Plus his label Maeve has released a pair of quality releases from Ed Davenport and co-label head Baikal.
On the vision behind his Essential Mix debut, Mannion wanted to deliver a set similar to what he would play out.
“The idea behind the mix was to do a condensed version of a longer set i might play in a club. The mix features music from some of my favorite artists.”
It’s clear that Mannion is one to provide a unique selection and his Essential mix lays out exactly that. Featuring tracks from the likes of Roman Flügel, Ripperton, Daniel Avery, Blawan and Maeve labelmate Baikal, there’s a wide range of sounds presented.
