Leeds venue TESTBED announces programme for remainder of 2024

"We are committed to reviving and celebrating Leeds' vibrant cultural scene"

Leeds venue TESTBED has announced a run of club music-focused events for the remainder of the year, bringing a variety of local and international names to the 2500-capacity space.

Between September and December, the venue is welcoming a host of soundscapes, booking Sammy Virji, Hybrid Minds, Girls Don't Sync, Heather Small and Alisha to name a few. The spot is also welcoming hosted nights, with promoters including Teletech and Worried About Henry involved.

The announcement comes after a tumultuous time for Leeds: two seminal venues, Wire and Sheaf St have closed in the last year, and the vital MAP Charity and its regular fundraising source, Cosmic Slop, is under threat (you can find out more, and sign the petition help save the two here).

“We are very proud to present the biggest season of events Leeds has ever seen,” says the venue’s Josh Demello. “Despite the challenges the city has faced with the closure of iconic venues and event brands, our passion has only grown stronger. We are committed to reviving and celebrating Leeds' vibrant cultural scene.

“There is a demand for large-scale events with the big names in the city, and at TESTBED we are able to deliver that.”
