Lee “Scratch” Perry embarks on 'Blackboard Jungle Dub' 45th Anniversary Tour

Influential musician, DJ and producer Lee “Scratch” Perry has announced a tour this October to celebrate the 45th anniversary of his seminal dub LP 'Blackboard Jungle Dub'.
Originally released in 1973, 'Blackboard Jungle Dub' by Lee “Scratch” Perry's band The Upsetters was the first full-length dub LP ever to to be released and helped spark a revolution for the genre to flourish. Now 45 years later, the pioneering dub artist will embark on a 15 date tour of North America, joined by his long-time band Subatomic Sound System.
On this upcoming tour, Scratch, now age 82, will bring audiences the 'Blackboard Jungle Dub' album performed in its entirety for the first time. It kicks off this Friday, October 12 at Vancouver’s Commodore Ballroom and concludes on Halloween at Gateway City Arts in Holyoke, Massachusetts. More dates may be announced at a later date.
