French bass specialist LB aka LABAT returns to the UK this week and steps up to the Lab LDN for a very special live analog performance. Digging deep into an extensive record collection, the producer, DJ, and label head is set to showcase his eclectic palette before setting off on tour across Australia later this spring. Alongside his contemporaries by the likes of Mall Grab, Partiboi69, and Kettama, LB aka LABAT remains a staple on the bass, house, and leftfield electronic realm.
With the launch of his label in 2022, Poumpet Records, LB aka LABAT attempted to release a new track every single month for a year using old records reworked using vintage gear. His innovative productions have caught the attention of labels, venues, and festivals all over the world including Steel City Dance Discs, London’s KOKO, and Paris’ Rex Club.
