Kyiv’s 20ft Radio starts week-long fundraising broadcast

‘Grain of Peace’ is offering “calm and peaceful sounds to provide emotional support and healing”

To support Ukrainians, Kyiv’s 20ft Radio has launched a week-long fundraising broadcast called ‘Grains of Peace’.

Starting March 28 and running through to April 1, the radio is broadcasting “calm and peaceful sounds to provide emotional support and healing” by a mixture of Ukrainian and foreign DJs.

The Ukrainian DJs include, Anthony Junkoid, Nikolaienko (Muscut), Mlin Patz, Bryozone, DJ Snork, Andrey Kostyukov, Dubmasta, Vvanya Samokrutkin (СИСТЕМА) and many international artists such as Biosphere, RAMZi, Aleksi Perala, Call Super, Elena Colombi, Heap, Yu Su, Legowelt, DJ soFa, Markey Funk and more.

All money raised will go to the National Bank of Ukraine's Fundraising Account for Humanitarian Assistance, Infrastructure Restoration Fund and Destroyed Property. Listeners can also contribute to the fundraiser that has a goal of $100,000 (£76,383.50).

20ft Radio have said in a press release: “We believe that music is an instrument of peace, a medicine, which power can be felt by everyone and can help to find faith, hope and peace in this world again.

“We invite artists and music lovers from all over the world to sow Grains of Peace to support the spirit of our country, fill souls with light and fill the future with meaning."
