Krystal Klear in The Lab NYC

The Cold Tonic boss and Running Back affiliate makes a stop in Brooklyn

The Lab NYC is Mixmag and WAV's weekly live stream and post-work unwind, powered by Void Acoustics, where we showcase the finest DJs direct from our Brooklyn office. This Friday, October 12, we welcome in Krystal Klear to perform a bumping DJ set showcasing why he's one of the most buzzing talents in the industry today.

Hailing from Dublin, Krystal Klear, aka Dec Lennon, first stepped onto the scene as an anonymous artist and quickly gained traction with his focus on underground dancefloor material, fusing nostalgic elements with a forward-thinking motif. He's released a string of acclaimed EPs on labels like Kerri Chandler's Madtech, Floating Points' Eglo, DJ Haus' Unknown To The Unknown, his own Cold Tonic imprint and more recently his 'Neutron Dance' EP on Gerd Janson's Running Back label that is regarded by many as one of the top releases of 2018. Dec's talents in the studio are increasingly in high-demand, having been tapped by Nile Rodgers to work alongside Chic and one of Dec's most revered vocalists Michael Macdonald of The Dooby Brothers and Steely Dan.

When outside the studio, Krystal Klear has held down gigs at world renowned venues like Berghain / Panorama Bar, fabric, Sub Club, The Warehouse Project, Oval Space and more. When he stops off in The Lab NYC he'll take the dancefloor on a journey through his distinct sound and style in a uniquely intimate setting.
