Kompakt showcase in The Lab LDN: Demian & Rex The Dog

The Lab LDN is Mixmag and Coors Light's weekly live stream, powered by Void Acoustics, where we showcase the finest DJs direct from our world famous office party.
This Friday we welcome Kompakt artists Demian and Rex The Dog into The Lab for a two hour session of ecstatic melody-driven music.
Kompakt has been in operation for 25 years and in that time has carved out a signature style of emotionally rich sounds that has positioned it among Europe’s most distinguished imprints.
Rex The Dog put out his debut record through Kompakt in 2004, and since returning to the label in 2015 after a nine year absence he has grown into a core artist, never failing to thrill with his fizzing electro-fuelled productions. The UK producer will be performing a live modular set in The Lab; check out this video for a taster.
Demian is newer figure in the Kompakt collective, having put out his first EP, titled ‘Milestars’, on the Cologne outlet in February. The French artist has all the qualities to slot perfectly into fold, showcasing a deft skill for crafting immersive, surging sets and tracks.
