Maceo Plex and DJ Koze appear on Kompakt's 'Total 16' compilation

Kompakt Records has just announced its 'Total 16' compilation.

The collection, featuring a selection of the label's best tunes from the past 12 months, plus a handful of exclusive new material, will be released on August 16.

25 tracks will arrive via two CDs, with tracks from Maceo Plex, Blond:Ish, The Orb and Hot Chip's Joe Goddard making an appearance.

Eight unreleased cuts will also come exclusively on a 2xLP vinyl. As if that wasn't enough, Kompakt's 'Total 16' also includes a special edition bonus 10" with tracks from Wassermann and DJ Koze.
