One of Drum & Bass’ most unique voices Kimyan Law has made a track from his recent album available for free download.
‘Citadelle’ is the seventh track on the 22-year-old’s new album ‘Zawadi’ which follows 2014’s breakthrough debut album ‘Coeur Calme’.
Featuring fellow Vienna resident MOTSA, ‘Citadelle’ is highlighted by haunting brass stabs driven by a two-stepping beat full of intricate percussion.
An exile from his homeland of Congo due to the country’s civil war, Kimyan Law’s album title ‘Zawadi’ is Swahili for ‘gifts’, a fitting title for a record full of gems.
