When will Kendrick Lamar’s new album be released?

‘Mr Morale & The Big Steppers’ is the follow-up to his 2017 album ‘DAMN'

Kendrick Lamar has revealed news of a new album ‘Mr Morale & The Big Steppers’.

His new work was announced via his website Oklama and will be a follow-up from his Pulitzer-winning 2017 album ‘DAMN’.

The letter titled ‘pgLang’ within a folder on Lamar’s website reads: “The following statement was released today by Oklama, through his company pgLang at 11:00AM PT in Los Angeles, CA”.

The statement adds: “All factual information for this release will come directly from this source only.”

Within this unique announcement, it is revealed that ‘Mr Morale & The Big Steppers’ will drop on May 13.

On the same website, Lamar had previously teased the album in August 2021 by writing: “As I produce my final TDE album, I feel joy to have been a part of such a cultural imprint after 17 years. The Struggles. The Success. And most importantly, the Brotherhood. May the Most High continue to use Top Dawg as a vessel for candid creators. As I continue to pursue my life’s calling."

Lamar will be headlining Glastonbury this year as well as working on a new comedywritten alongside the creators of South Park.
