Kelly Lee Owens reveals self-titled debut album

It drops in March via Smalltown Supersound

Welsh-born producer and singer Kelly Lee Owens has announced the release of her self-titled debut album dropping on March 24.

The LP follows her 2016 'Oleic' EP and the leading single ‘Anxi’ showcases her trademark ethereal techno-pop style and features Jenny Hval on the vocals.

Owens said: “'Anxi’ has been my most freeing and open collaboration so far, and my first time working with a female. It was a very powerful experience for me, I felt she brought something strange and quite beautiful.”

The album also features a tribute to musician Arthur Russell in ‘Arthur’, and ‘Keep Walking’ was co-written with Daniel Avery, who she used to work with in a record store, before laying down vocals for his ‘Drone Logic’ album on Erol Alkan’s Phantasy Sound in 2013.

You can stream ‘Anxi’ below and pre-order the album here.
