Kelela - 10/10

Kelela's been airing alternative versions of her mixtape tracks during live shows over the last year, and now they've been committed to triple vinyl and double CD as part of a 'deluxe' reissue.

While NS/FTM crew members Jam City, Rizzla and Nguzunguzu (among others) turn in killer rerubs, it's Girl Unit who takes the title. On 'Send Me Out' he swaps Kingdom's hard OG production for deep purple synths and loud/quiet dynamics as yearning and erotic as Kelela's lyrics. This definitely turns us out.
