Kanye West's new album 'Ye' will feature Kid Cudi, Ty Dolla $ign and more

Plus controversial jabs about his slavery comment, Stormy Daniels and more

Kanye West announced a release date for his eighth studio album back in April and has delivered on his June 1 promise with the seven-track LP, simply titled 'Ye'.

Premiered via Mixmag's partner app WAV, Kanye drew attention to the unlikely farmlands of Jackson Hole, Wyoming for a live streamed listening party. Attended by names like Chris Rock, Lil Yachty, Pusha-T and of course, Kim Kardashian, Kanye revealed tracks from his album tackling topics in brash Kanye fashion including his debated mental health state (“Today I thought about killing you" from the opening track), Stormy Daniels, allegations against Russell Simmons ("Russell Simmons wanna pray for me too / Wanna pray for him ’cause he got MeToo’d") and his controversial opinion on slavery he said to TMZ (“I say slavery a choice / they say how Ye").

His album comes full with collaborations too, including appearances from Kid Cudi (who also plans to release a full collaborative project with Kanye next week), Ty Dolla $ign, Jeremih, Young Thug, Charlie Wilson and a reported voicemail sample from Nicki Minaj.

The stream has since ended and has not surfaced on WAV or other platforms. The 'Ye' album will be out on June 1.
