Apollo Music Group is a new label run by DJ Heather and co-conspirators Lil’ Mark and Dirty Sole. Its third release comes from Music For Freaks’ Justin Harris. ‘The Future Is Past’ is a smooth acid roller that takes in influences from both Detroit and Chicago, and has euphoric vocals from Blondewearingblack.

‘E Numbers’ continues where Freaks’ work left off thanks to its quirky vocal sample, but also shows where Harris is now, too, with acid licks, piano line and a huge groove: it goes straight for the dancefloor and doesn’t hold back.

There’s a more DJ-friendly remix from Alinka, too, but the original version is absolutely stunning.
