Julian Jeweil to release debut album ‘Transmission’ on Drumcode
"'Transmission' tells a story; my techno story"
Julian Jeweil’s long-awaited debut album ‘Transmission’ is scheduled for release on January 7 via Adam Beyer’s Drumcode imprint.
Coming in at 11 tracks, the space-themed LP will be Jeweil’s first full-length project.
As one of France’s leading techno artists, over the past decade Jeweil has released material backed by the likes of Beyer and Richie Hawtin. He has also toured the world, playing out at iconic clubs and events such as London’s fabric, Tomorrowland, Time Warp and Womb.
“With 'Transmission' I wanted to produce an album which would represent me a hundred percent, without limiting myself or setting boundaries,” says Jeweil via a press statement.
Adding, “ It was important for me to make an LP where every single track could be used in a mix as well as listened to at home. The album's concept was simple: 'Transmission' tells a story; my techno story.”
Last year Jeweil released two EP’s (‘Rolling’ and ‘Space’) via the label.
