Jon Convex x DeFeKT
Bit of midweek darkness right here, this one goes hard
Both as part of Instra:Mental and as Jon Convez, Damon Kirkham knows exactly how to make you dance. He's known for his pretty unrelenting bangers and as Convex, he's been our go to guy for heavy-artillery techno/electro for a while.
His label Convex Industries is responsible for releases by dBridge, Alex Smoke, Wraetlic and of course Kirkham himself. To give you an idea of the power he posesses, check this premiere we did last year from his EP on ZONE.
For his next release on the label he's teamed up with DeFeKT, another producer lauded for his high-octane, ho-holds-barred electro sound. Together they've created the Negative Action EP and we've got the premiere of the dark and slamming lead cut.
The track shocks and startles from the off with pounding kicks and jagged riffs. After some agonisingly prolonged builds, the cut explodes into a heavy 4/4 stomper, one that should ignite any dancefloor. It's pretty dark but when it's coming from these two, we didn't expect anything less.
