Jini Cowan has previously provided remixes for artists such as Tough Love, Gabriel & Dresden and Pete Gooding, in addition to finding success with her own Aninma events.

Her trademark deep tech flows through this EP, which is being released on Jonathan Kiely’s Dublin-based label Strictly Deep.

‘Umbra’ has shadowy overtones with metallic percussion and a falling bassline, while ‘Roots’ is a mix of sinister flutters, driving bass, vocal cuts and sturdy drums.

‘Deliver Us’, meanwhile, is the perfect warm-up (or warm-down) track.
