Jeremy Sylvester announces debut album ‘Underground Hero’

The project is set to be the debut release on Sylvester’s newly-minted label Garage Paradise

UK dance music legend Jeremy Sylvester has announced his debut album, ‘Underground Hero’, will be released next month.

Sylvester announced the news on Twitter, writing "New Music!" with a link to pre-order the forthcoming record via his Bandcamp page.

Coming in at 18 tracks, the new project will also be the debut release on Sylvester's new imprint Garage Paradise, which he says will focus on music from “emerging talent in the scene, pushing the sound to new heights and ensuring its continual evolution.”

‘Underground Hero’ will focus on a range of genres and influences reflecting Jeremy’s "musical roots and evolution over the years", with the project spanning “early 90s jungle, rave, UK garage, and house music", according to the 'Underground Hero' Bandcamp page.

“The album, over a year in the making, showcases Jeremy's diverse influences while staying forward-thinking and innovative," the bio continues. "It is a self-released project, presented as a four-part vinyl album sampler 'Room 1', 'Room 2', 'Room 3', and 'Room 4'—each offering a unique vibe and sound.”

Despite a huge number of releases across a variety of different labels, compilations and aliases, the aptly named ‘Underground Hero’ marks a landmark for Sylvester as his debut solo-produced album.
